Exquisite Edwardian silk faille and fur cape/mantle! High collar done in layers of lace and beads. Long fringe is done in thin strips of fur along with stands with beaded tassels. Hook and eyes down the front of cape along with ruching/gathering. Two long pieces in front are trimmed in the fur and beads.

Condition: Very Good Vintage : Silk lining has shattered, and can be easily removed. We left it there in case you want to restore the lining, but it really isn't necessary. It is very thin and will just peel away! There is a teeny area of fur loss on the trim and some minor wear to the fur fringe. Remarkable and strong condition for being well over 100 years old!
